Any party that requires an industrial design citation document can submit an application for an excerpt of the general list of industrial design to the DJKI

Applicants who reside outside the territory of the Republic of Indonesia

Parties requiring a copy of an industrial design certificate may request it from the Directorate General by paying a fee.

Legal Counsel is an Intellectual Property Rights Consultant registered as an Intellectual Property Rights Consultant at the Directorate General of Intellectual Property

The applicant can submit a request for withdrawal of the industrial design application that has been submitted by the applicant.

Condition:

If the requirements and completeness of the application are incomplete, the applicant will be notified in writing to complete the requirements and completeness of the application within a maximum period of 3 (three) months from the date of sending the notification.

The holder of an industrial design has the right to grant a license to another party, either exclusively or non-exclusively, based on a written agreement to use the industrial design which is still protected within a certain period of time and under certain conditions.

Registered industrial designs can be canceled by the Directorate General upon written request submitted by the industrial design right holder. Cancellation of an industrial design can also be carried out based on a lawsuit to the Commercial Court filed by an interested party for the reasons as intended in Article 2 or Article 4 of Law Number 31 of 2000. The Commercial Court's decision regarding the cancellation of the registration of industrial design rights is submitted to the Directorate General no later than 14 (14) fourteen) days after the date the verdict is pronounced.
